lima lipa is a fashion photographer and director based in queens, new york. lima has multiethnic roots from central asia, caucasus and south asia. Her work centers the lives of women in contemporary world, exploring identity, self-expression, loneliness and  discovery of sexuality through a cinematic, emotionally intimate visual language. 

previously, she spent three years as head of pr, social media and collaborations for a major eastern european fashion brand, grounding her visual practice in a strong understanding of brand strategy, media and partnerships.
